Netflix Casts Perfect Performer for Bon Clay in One Piece Season 3
The Secret Organization is set to make a major impact in the forthcoming season on Netflix of One Piece, even if the true confrontation isn’t set to occur until the third season, and a beloved, audience-beloved member has now been chosen.
The streaming service revealed recently that Cole Escola is now part of the One Piece upcoming season’s lineup and will play Bon Clay. This character possesses the power to transform into an identical duplicate of anyone they’ve touched with their main hand. Escola, who is non-binary and goes by they/them, will depict a version of that character reinterpreted as non-binary identifying, as opposed to as a drag performer, in the live-action show, unlike the original manga and cartoon version.
This performer will work alongside a number of fresh additions who will portray the group to reality, including leader Mr. 0, brought to life by the seasoned performer, a talented actress as Miss Goldenweek, and an accomplished actor, who is also part of the ensemble as the ruler of the desert kingdom.
Although this character is a important part of Baroque Works, the individual won’t make their debut One Piece season 3. With the second season likely to portray the Little Garden segment, this represents a significant shift in the placement of Bon Clay’s introduction, one that could signal additional alterations to the story’s structure.
Their mix of sharp comedic timing and profound feeling makes them a ideal selection for the part. In addition to their current animated role in the animated coming-of-age film Boys Go to Jupiter, they garnered significant recognition and several accolades for writing and starring in the hit comedy play Oh Mary!, showcasing the versatility they’ll add to one of One Piece’s widely praised characters.
The platform’s adapted One Piece program is scheduled to come back for its second season on the tenth of March, 2026.
