Salah Issues Statement to Liverpool Dressing Room, Says Curtis Jones
Curtis Jones has revealed that the Egyptian forward expressed regret to the entire Liverpool squad in the wake of the controversy from his televised remarks.

Salah was left out from a European match following voicing frustrations and stating his rapport with Arne Slot had soured.
“Salah is an individual and he can say his own stuff,” the midfielder said. “His apology was clear and was like: ‘If I’ve affected anybody, please accept my apology.’”
Arne Slot has chosen not to reveal on whether he received a personal apology from the veteran striker.
Looking Ahead
He emphasized that the team's response was unchanged. “He was the exact same Mo, he was smiling and we all treated him normally,” he continued.
The midfielder also suggested that a player's desire to start is less of an issue. “It's clear there are specific approaches you can express yourself,” he said. “But if a lad’s fine to just be on the bench, then I think that’s more of an issue.”
Positive Results
Liverpool's form have stayed unbeaten in the matches since the interview fallout. He feels the outburst were not designed to destabilise the squad.
“If passion has boiled over, it has consistently come from a good place,” Jones concluded. “It's behind us and we’re gelling well as a team, getting results and on a positive run.”
